Piche de Alcatrão Siderúrgico - Coal Tar Pitch
Metallurgical pitches are obtained by distilling the tar generated in the production of metallurgical coke. They are mainly used as binders in the production of various carbon pastes for the manufacture of pre-baked and Soderberg-type anodes in the primary aluminum industry. This product is available in the following options:

Eletrodo de Grafite - Graphite Electrode
Graphite electrodes are widely used in electric arc furnaces and other electric arc melting or refining processes. M3 offers high-quality UHP (ultra-high power) products in various diameters according to customer specifications.
Nitreto de Ferro Silício - Ferrosilicon Nitride
Silicon Ferrous Nitride (FeSi3N4) is mainly used in the preparation of mixtures for plugging larger blast furnaces in steelmaking and channels for pig iron and other liquid metals. Available in different particle sizes for use in refractories as well as for grain size control in special steels.
Cored Wire
"Cored wires" are coils of steel tubing filled with ferroalloys or additives to interact with liquid steel, promoting refining reactions. Injection into the bath results in better efficiency and savings on filler alloy. In the case of Ca-cored wires, they are used to condition steel inclusions, causing them to grow and float, adhering to the slag in the ladle, resulting in cleaner steel with minimal inclusion distribution that impairs the material's properties. M3 offers CaSi and CaFe-cored wire coils in standard dimensions according to the most well-known specifications.
